Time for a Giveaway (Day)!

Welcome everyone,new and patch followers alike!  It is that time again,hope you are enjoying entering all of the giveaways!  I know Giveaway Day is a busy time of hopping around and commenting on lots of blogs,but if you have a minute check out some of my tutorials and recipes.  Of course I would love to make a few new friends during the Giveway too :)


For a chance to win the items in the above photo,just tell me what your favorite Holiday Tradition is.  I will try to reply to all comments,but it might take a while!  So if you have not heard from me in a few days you are probably a NO REPLY Blogger,if you think you might be,make sure to leave your email in your comment.

    We like to drive around looking and Christmas display lights at least once or twice during the season. The family gets together on Christmas eve for Swedish meatball dinner and exchange gifts.

    what a generous giveaway! My favourite tradition is decorating the tree. We buy a couple of new baubles each year, our tree is not colour co-ordinated but it is a tree full of memories.

    Ok, first I want to know where in this frozen earth is this picture taken at. Makes me cuddle in a blanket just looking at it. I am a new follower by email and can't wait too have the time to go thru your blog. On Christmas eve our tradition is to go around and look at all the Christmas lights. I love that time with everyone picking out their favorite.

    My favourite holiday tradition (which is a popular question among Giveaway-ers :))
    is gathering aroung the table with my family and summarizing the events of the passing year, each of us remembering all the important things that have happened during the year. We do this every year.

    I love that the 3 kings/wise men bring the presents to kids on the 6th of January (instead of Santa Claus) in Spain. I'ts not very practical because it's just the day before the go back to school, but the waiting is so exciting for them.

    I love our New Year eve tradition. We prepare a lot of finger foods and play card and board games for hours while waiting for the NY Times ball to drop. So much fun!     We host an open house party in the first week of January called "The Last Noel." It's actually more relaxing than the busy time before Christmas and all our friends enjoy all the Christmassy stuff with us.

    Nice giveaway selection!! I love our annual Christmas program (given by the adult children in the family) every Christmas Eve. The songs they select are obscure ones and are always good and become our favorites.

    Our favorite holiday tradition is Christmas Brunch after we open our gifts. The table is set with our best Christmas dishes, candles and cloth napkins. Lots of our favorite breakfast food and the best part... we eat in our pajamas, sometimes matching ones. Thanks, Kathy

    We have a tradition of opening one gift at a time - not one per person. It can take forever but with a break in the middle for our traditional Christmas breakfast it makes for a nice enjoyable morning.

    The whole family sits around the dinner table on Christmas Eve positively stuffing ourselves with all the favorites we have. When there is no place left to cram in even the smallest piece of chocolate in we begin on the presents under the Christmas tree.

    Having our Christmas Eve 'Anything Goes' buffet. Everyone gets to pick one or two things they want and I make it. Some years there are some really strange combinations on the table but everyone loves it.

    What a fun giveaway!

    My favourite tradition is that we always open stockings on Christmas Eve. When I was a kid we spent Christmas eve with my dad's side of the family and Christmas day with my mom's side of the family, but my sister and I managed to talk our parents into letting us open "just one thing" before we went to either of the family get-togethers and then since we did it last year, we have to do it this year too! Now we're all kind of spread out and don't do the family Christmas gatherings any more, but my parents come out here where my sister and I live and we've still kept up that tradition of One Thing (it's just One Stocking, which is a lot of little things) for the day ahead :) (Sorry, kind of a long one, eh?)

    We always go to Grandma's to eat too much and open gifts on Christmas Even. Hopefully we will make it to "midnight" service. I've also started a new tradition - decorating (and eating) cut-out cookies with my toddler.

    My favorite time is Christmas eve at my Mom's. About 50 relatives come. Mom is 86 and it will be sad when she is no longer with us to have us in her home! It has been a family tradition as long as I can remember! midwayfarms@hughes.net

    I always have a jigsaw puzzle at the holidays. The entire family drifts in and out and great conversations are had whie searching for Rudolph's red nose.

    Our favorite tradition is decorating. We both decorate the Christmas tree, and my hubby decorates outside on our patio with lots of lights and Christmas symbols. Happy holidays!
