So,since I am about to go take a batch of jam out of the canner, this is going to be a picture post. All about the garden ...
Even though the Deer managed to get in and Burglarize the Garden recently,as well as my sunflowers GRR...they have survived and are doing almost as good as before the rampage :)
Good Morning CeLynn, My word, you have deer rampaging through your garden and eating all your lovely plants.... do you know that is hard for me to imagine coming from England. We have slugs, snails the odd rabbit and badgers if you live in the countryside, which we can contain, but how do you prevent deer from eating your plants. Your tomato plants are huge and I can see you are a companion planter. My Gramps used to plant Marigolds around a lot of his vegetable plants because he said the insects which were attracted to the Marigolds, ate the insects which loved the vegetable plants. I love sunflowers as they are such beautiful plants. My daughters used to love growing them as little girls as the sunflowers grew so quickly and they could see something new everyday. Have a lovely day CeLynn, Best Wishes Daphne

I just made a blogpost from the garden, with some special flowers I've made myself. Your garden is pretty, and I love sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteWow! Your garden is awesome! My sunflowers are not even close to opening yet, though they are now about 5 feet tall :)
