100th post & my first Giveaway!!

Here is my first Snap Happy bag :)  I am so happy with how
it turned out.  Although I have to confess, I added my own
twist!  The bag is supposed to lay flat, but I made it so it
can sit up like a regular purse.
Now to the fun stuff!  Here is a picture of the giveaway!
The first one is the Snap Happy pattern that Carol over
at Carol's Creations so generously shared with me!

  1. I love the bag! Sooooo cute, and making it stand up is a plus in my book! I would make a new shotgun case for my DH with the jelly roll, and the fat quarters would turn into a new stroller cover and a little Spring weight blankie for the baby across the street. It is such cheerful fabric, you can't help but smile when you see it and it will give the baby lots of visuals. The family is really struggling this year and we try to help where we can. The purse pattern has already been seen and claimed by my daughter...LOL. Thank you for such a great giveaway!

  2. Congratulations on your 100th post. It is a milestone to be sure and speaks of perseverance and dedication.

Thanks for mentioning my own Blogiversary at prsd4tim2 on your blog. I LOVE IT!

Oh, what would I do with all that beautiful fabric goodness? Well, the purse is a delight, and I think it would be fun to carry, so I would perhaps make several. Maybe see what it looks like in Kate Spain's Central Park, since that's what I'm really into right now (I really love the orange print with the aqua and white print- they look so great together).

Those children's prints are to DIE for, and I'm certain they would become something yummy for my little granddaughter, Abby.

As for the Debbie Mumm fabric, I think they would be great as one of my market totes, which is another thing I am into right now.

Thanks so much for hosting a great giveaway, and congratulations again on your 100th post!

  3. Hey there!! Exciting to see your 100th post. Very generous giveaway too!! Awesome! Congrats my friend!!

The fabrics.... the bright fab is so cute and I would have to share it with my friend Sydneykatt and we would make something for the TRIPLETS!!

I love the Debbie Mumm Fabric and have been looking for projects using Jelly Rolls, so I'm undecided on that!

The Snap Happy pattern. I've seen those... such a neat idea and definitely appealing to make it "stand up"

    Thanks again and congrats!!!

  4. Congratulations on your successful blog! I love the bag and the fact that you improvised and made it stand up : ) I have been interested in trying this pattern as well. The bright fat quarters are screaming to become a baby quilt, can't have too many of those around here lately! Now, the Debbie Mumm fabrics, not sure, but, I do love Debbie Mumm, I have her Christmas dishes from many years ago! Thanks for the neat ideas you always share : )

  7. The snap bag with a twist! That is one nice twist, CeLynn!! Congrats on 100 posts - that is an accomplishment :-)
I have three grandchildren ages 8, 6 and 4 (as of yesterday), so the cute juvenile prints I could make into pillows for each of them and I would use the Debbie Mumm fabrics in a table top quilt for our dining room. Debbie Mumm is one of my all-time favorite designers! Thank you for the chance to win and brighten up Tax Day!! Mary Ann @ RocknQuilts

  10. I would make a quilt for my son (4) with the 7 fat quarters. I'd LOVE to have a bag pattern for myself. On a Friday night sew-in I plan on making a bag that I take with me to the fabric store.
