I like all the colorful quilts! Thanks for this giveaway!
ReplyDeletedazzlingshorty(at)yahoo(dot)com
I like seeing lots of FOs displayed with the fabrics used by them. I like seeing how certain prints/solids can be used. It helps my whole inspiration process.
ReplyDeleteI look for variety! Lots and lots of variety. I bet you know where I live :)
ReplyDeleteDid you hear back that you got a spot at the Farmer's Market?
ReplyDeleteI think the best tip is to have items of all different price points in your booth. Someone might be willing to pony up $5 for a key fob, but not $20 for a tablerunner. I think the less expensive stuff sells more.
I am in Luxembourg (the tiny country) so having a go at your international giveaway! I love original, well made items.
ReplyDeleteAt craft fairs, I like to see lower priced items(under $30), visible price tags, a variety of items, and well organized displays. Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletehi! first of all i'm international! (from spain)
ReplyDeleteIn a craft booth i will put my attention in all handmade fabric things.
thanks!
I look for variety ... I'll spend more time in one booth if it's neat & colorful ...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway
ReplyDelete(I'm international)
Hmmm....I look for a variety of prices and well sewn products. It's really hard, because I won't buy anything normally, knowing I can make it for less...but I love when the person is friendly and makes nice products. I will look and chat a bit. Thank you for a lovely giveaway. I started following you on bloglovin, even if you're not posting much. =)
ReplyDeleteI like booths with variety and will well made items. And visible price tags.
ReplyDeleteI like to see variety- but more importantly: I like to know that the person selling them took pride in making them!
ReplyDeleteI like to see quality work. Sometimes, you know... Sometimes the the just doesn't have that "finished" look, you know?
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that draws me to a booth is plenty of color. I also appreciate a booth that looks as if the sponsor took great care in executing the overall interior design.
ReplyDeleteI love booth displays and lots of color. We have a farm stand. I would love to add some homemade things someday, but for right now we just sell produce and jams and jelly. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteLove well thought out and organized displays with a variety of clearly marked price points.
ReplyDeleteI am an International commenter - thanks for including us :-) I always look for smaller, cheaper priced items at a craft fair - little pouches etc, but still made from lovely fabric.
ReplyDeleteYou probably don't want any tips from me, but I definitely enjoyed reading the previous comments seeing as I'm in the middle of redesigning my booth and am always looking for ways to make it better :) Thanks so much for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteApproach it like a game. Don't let any rude, snarky or stupid visitors steal your joy. That's the best tip I would have for someone running a booth at a craft show. :)
ReplyDeleteVisible price tags interesting display and a smile :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other comment, easily being able to see the price tag and what it costs. A neat clean not junky booth is a great thing too!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of those change purses! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love creative fat quarter bundles -- made from different fabric lines by someone with a real eye for color (not me, unfortunately).
ReplyDeleteCute fabric! At a fair I look for presentation and affordability.
ReplyDeletecolorvibrant[at]gmail[dot]com
Beautiful giveaway! I usually look for tidiness at craft booths. I can't stand looking through piles of things.
ReplyDeleteI like fat quarters bundle and I am looking for inspiration on how to use them. nice giveaway, thank you...martamanole@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletei love bright fun small items all priced clearly and in an organized fashion. thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteColor color color! It always attracts the eyes and draws you into a booth.
ReplyDeleteI like an assortment of prices- sometimes I'm just looking for something small!
ReplyDeleteI love to look at new things that are different and richly emblished but good qulaity work I love to go to craft shows to get ideas sherrisewgoes@q.com
ReplyDeleteThank you for a lovely give away. I enjoy browsing and getting ideas until something catches my fancy. Last year in FL there was a woman sewing in her booth with all sorts of handmade goodies. What caught my eye was an adorable cat the covered a tissue box. I bought one.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing things that are interesting and not just basic placemats or something I know I could make myself in a couple of minutes. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI look for unique with a Euro flair items!
ReplyDeletevhogsett@comcast.net
I look for color! Then prints! Then the patterns! Pupton58 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI look for unique and useful items!
ReplyDeleteI look for sale or clearance fabrics. I'm posting from Portugal.
ReplyDeletethank you for the nice giveaway
ReplyDeletegreetings from
marion
I like seeing patterns, supplies and fabrics that are not available to me locally. I guess that means you need a demographics research team! I'll be glad to apply for the job...
ReplyDeleteI look for unique items. If I see something that 50 other people are making, I will pass it up. Also, it has to be worth my time to purchase it, and not make it myself. :) Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteI don't like it when items are just laying on the table. I like to see things organized in baskets. Different levels, etc... Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI think its good to have a variety of items at different prices, so you cover more budgets. I also like well displayed items and prices.
ReplyDeleteI like a good selection and plenty of what is sampled on display. Very frustrating when you look at a quilt or pattern, and oops, they don't have any more :-((
ReplyDeleteI dislike overly pushy people.
ReplyDeleteI'm international!
mcintoshsusan@hotmail dot com
Thanks so much for the chance! I like when booths are well labeled and organized - makes it easier to see everything!
ReplyDeleteI like to see a variety of things, I am drawn to things involving fabric and sewing handmade items. I don't like too much clutter, it overwhelms me and makes it hard to see what is offered.
ReplyDeleteWow, 45 comments already CeLynn, congratulations! :))) I love to look for unusual fabrics (Japanese, African, Australian) that you can't find in your every day fabric store.
ReplyDeletethis is great. I am from the USA
ReplyDeleteI love to look for homemade items when I go to a craft fair.
The number one thing I look for at craft fairs, etc is to see uniqueness. Nothing bothers me more than a fair with almost all vendors doing the same thing.
ReplyDeleteI just love variety and to be able to really get close to items and see them.
ReplyDeleteI like to see items of varying prices, clean and pretty displays and a friendly smile on the vendor's face.
ReplyDeleteVariety of priced items, friendly vendor, cute/interesting displays and a full but not too crowded booth! Thanks for a chance at a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love different price points - maybe I can't afford a quilt now, or a complicated tote, but if I buy a keyfob from you and love it, I'll come back later when I have the $$ for something more! :) Also why I love to get people's business cards.
ReplyDeleteI tend to pick up unusual or quirky projects at craft booths and the quicker the project the better! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI like to see handmade things and inspiration at booths
ReplyDeleteI like it all. I like fabric, I like hand made items, I like notions but most of all I like to see quilts.
ReplyDeleteI like to look at the fabric and see what jumps out at me!
ReplyDeleteI like space (hate to feel crowded!) I also look for primitives. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeletei love variety. I use to do craft shows and the vendors who had variety and a good disposition always were busy
ReplyDeleteI like a variety of price points. High quality fabric is important for higher end items!
ReplyDeleteLots of colors and many different price points. I might love your stuff but legitimately not be able to afford what I really want - so lots of small goodies, a lot of medium stuff and a few impressive higher priced pieces.
ReplyDeleteI'm always tweaking my craft show booth, too. A big range of price points, colors and something shiny to draw people to your area, and take advantage of the height in your space. Shelves, whether on top of tables or floor based, are great, practical additions.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! ~ Carey
I love lots of color, clean uncluttered spaces, fqs at a great price (if its a deal I'm going to buy), and I love seeing simple to advanced quilts using the same fabric lines to show that you can make something beautiful no matter your skill level! Thanks for the great giveaway!!
ReplyDeletemrs(dot)hbraun(at)gmail(dot)com
I love good display. Particularly if they creatively use display pieces like vintage crates/furniture rather than simply a folding table with merchandise. The display creates character and charm and invites a longer visit. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI look for a good display and objects that are well made and unique.
ReplyDeleteI love a display with different levels, and I don't like being "eyed" when I'm looking! Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win. I don't go to many craft fairs, but I'd look for brightly colored items that would catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteFirst...love the fabric and purse pattern. I do love kits that I can just snatch up and not have to stand in line to have fabrics cut. Having lots of quilts around also helps me to decide what I really want to make and buy. I don't like booths that have a table in the center filled with stuff too that I have to squeeze between to shop on the table at the back of the booth.
ReplyDeleteColor and quality fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the entry into your drawing!
NthnButMoonshine[at]gmail[dot]com
I usually go in with swatchs of fabric that I need to get other fabrics to go with. I am bad at picking up just a few patterns that I love and then don't have enough patterns to make a quilt.
ReplyDeleteI look for organization and I like when the seller is helpful but not constantly in my face ;) lol!
ReplyDeleteA variety of items in different price ranges for all budgets!
ReplyDeleteAll kinds of things that I could make thanks
ReplyDeleteI always look for antique quilts and watering cans at crafty booths.
ReplyDeleteLove seein the fabrics, deals, quilts, and alllll the cool, fun ideas! :)
ReplyDeleteAt a craft booth it's hard to stand out sometimes so well-advertised pricing often draws me in as well as good signage advertising that you use recycled fabrics, etc.
ReplyDelete(I am in Canada!) Thanks for the chance.
In a craft booth I think color, variety, what is being sold are things that always stand out to me. I live in TX! Some people say that's a foriegn land! LOL
ReplyDeletemissysaprons@gmail.com
I like seeing the crafter work on something in their booth.
ReplyDeleteGosh... Haven't been to a craft for in a while. I am like others though, don't like being stared at.. Lol. Bright colors catch my eye. Variety of things to buy, with prices for everyone. Door prizes or something fun, free is nice. Demonstrations always catch my eye too. And number one... A SMILING face. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like to see the price displayed. I hate having to ask what the prices are. I also like seeing something new and well made.
ReplyDeletepaweis at yahoo dot com
I like a variety of prices. While i usually can not afford the huge quilt, i do love to look and use things i se for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI like basically just the looking around at everything at craft fairs and such places. The last one we went to there was this big burly guy at a "Green Gardening" booth and he was sitting there knitting a blanket. A PINK blanket. We went over and he and hubby talked knitting for about half an hour! :D
ReplyDeleteAt craft fairs I like booths that clearly have a theme and well made items.
ReplyDeleteVisible prices, neat booth, and a friendly seller with a smile.
ReplyDeleteHi CeLynn! I generally look for colorful things that catch my eye that are creatively displayed, etc. :) It's kind of hard to look through things that are just stacked in heaps. ;)
ReplyDeleteThere are 3 things I think help to make a good display (and good sales too!). Make sure that everything is priced. Try to display items on different levels; if you are using a table, bring an extra cloth and some empty boxes, and set up some "stair steps" toward the back of the table and cover it neatly with the extra cloth. Third, smile at people as they approach, say hello, and be standing -- nothing is a bigger turn-off that someone sitting looking down at a book! Good luck!
ReplyDeletei look for cleanliness, proper pricing, organization and friendliness.. of course good product is also invaluable!!
ReplyDeleteI always like little knick knacks at craft fairs, especially if they're handmade. SOmetimes I just dont have the largest budget.
ReplyDeleteColor draws me in and a well organized booth with well marked prices and different textures. Having fun props to display goods and maybe some small freebie with purchase (like a cute button or a 5x5 fabric square , pen, or something that ties in with your booth theme) are always fun little details. Thanks for the chance to win your pattern and some Color Me Retro!
ReplyDeleteFriendly smiles get me to stop and look around a vendor's booth. Bright colors usually get me to look in the first place. Thanks for the chance for your giveaway. It's a neat one. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat catches my attention most is anything I make myself, which is mostly quilts. Also, bright and happy colors :)
ReplyDeleteLove your giveaway Thanks for the chance to win! I don't get to go to craft fairs. Bummer. Thanks again. vickise at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteDefinitely high quality and bright colors. And variety of price points so I can support artists even if I'm not in the market for something big that day!
ReplyDeleteI love to see things that are unusual, that everyone else isn't carrying, like my tote that holds all my feet and other supplies to take to classes. I just grab that and my machine and I'm ready to go. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI love a vatiety of items at different prices.
ReplyDeleteI like personable people at the booth, variety, different price items and organized displays. Wonderful giveaway.
ReplyDeletemomik97(at)aol(dot)com
Too much stuff wedged together makes me keep walking by... less is more for me!
ReplyDeleteI think good fun quality (HEAVY) displays are key! Also decorate around it to make it inviting!
ReplyDeleteI love craft fairs, I like it when prices are clearly listed and you don't have to ask about every item you are interested in.
ReplyDeleteI like when tables/booths are clearly organized and bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteVariety within the same item, so I can pick my favorite one, and things I wouldn't be able to make myself.
ReplyDeleteSomething I can't make myself. ;)
ReplyDeletesntbosch(at)me(dot)com
I like to see bright colors at craft booths!
ReplyDeletei am in a wheeelchair, so I like a booth that isn;t so crowded that I cant get in!
ReplyDeleteI dislike when prices are not clearly visible - I hate when I have to ask the price on everything, especially if there's a crowd or if I'm just browsing and haven't switched gears to purchase mode just yet.
ReplyDeleteI look for a good, clean display with easy to read prices.
ReplyDeleteI look for things I haven't seen before. I also like it when I can ask questions about technique.
ReplyDeleteA creative presentation of the wares. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI like organized displays. I absolutely require prices marked. I like a vendor that says hello, makes herself available, and then allows me to browse.
ReplyDeletei look for well made items that aren't too crafty looking
ReplyDeleteAnything for me as long as it is well made and functional. I love smaller items such as wallets, change purses, coasters, and even smaller quilts. Thanks for having this giveaway! ilovequilting71@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI look for things I can't make myself
ReplyDeleteHELLO! SUCH A NEAT GIVEAWAY!
ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS LOOK FOR NEW CHRISTMAS IDEAS>ORNAMENTS,SWAGS,TREE TOPPERS ETC. THANKS FOR SHARING!
msstitcher1948@yahoo.com
At a craft booth/fair I most enjoy a smiling, friendly person who is eager to talk about about their creations. I'm amazed at the times I've been to shows and come across crafters who seem bothered if you ask questions, or just don't interact with their potential customers. Many thanks for your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteellen(at)myerly(dot)net
I look for a clean, organized booth, clear pricing, and a friendly person. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like to see the handbags
ReplyDeleteI like one bright, cool centerpiece.
ReplyDeleteI like to see the prices clearly marked. I don't like to have to ask the seller what the price is. I also like a booth to be uncluttered--not too much stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing new rulers and notions.
ReplyDeletethings should be cheerful and organized
ReplyDeleteI am always drawn to beautiful colors. christina112358 at gmail dot com

ReplyDeleteI love unique items, with beautiful colors. Thanks for the chance, I'm international.
ReplyDeleteLove Color Me Retro! I have some already, and am still debating about it's use, but it's fun just to hold and fondle! (Plus, it's Art Gallery, which just feels so damn good!)
ReplyDeleteI'm an international commenter.
ReplyDeleteI think it's colour and variety that initially catches my eye, and draws me to a stall/booth. And a friendly person at the stall, who's proud of their work will keep me there, looking into the items further.
I love craft fair markets - it is usually something unique or colorful in the display that pulls me in and then the option to buy at all different price points (different sizes of items) etc that gets my wallet out.
ReplyDeleteI would like prices to be displayed at our local flea market.
ReplyDeleteI'm international from Sweden. I like when ther's a lot of different notions and fabric ofcourse!
ReplyDeletecarin(dot)aschan(at)hotmail(dot)com
I like when things are organized and well-presented. Tables that are too sparse or too jumbled make me want to keep on walking. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI am usually looking for gifts at craft shows. A fun display always pulls me in as well. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI like booths that are tidy and cute. :)
ReplyDeletepeachstateme (at) hotmail (dot) com
I like big colorful displays that aren't too crowded!
ReplyDeleteI am looking for unusual, one of a kind, well made gifts
ReplyDeleteI like seeing new patterns and ideas
ReplyDeleteI like to items with a good level of craftsmanship and at different price points. Since I already sew myself, I usually buy things from someone who has an original style.
ReplyDeleteFor me a lot of craft fairs are too old fashioned. I like seeing modern fabric if they are selling kits or finished items.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win this kit, the fabric and the kit look awesome!
I really like seeing unique fabrics and patterns
ReplyDeletedetroitgirl77 AT gmail DOT com
i look for lots of different patter combinations and varreity when im at booths. onlyjamieh(@)gmail(dot)com

I also like it when I can look at the items without someone telling me they don't want their items touched.(This has happened at a show one time) Good luck at your show.

ReplyDeleteI like to see a wide variety of items -- not just baby things, but things I could buy as a little gift, quilts that would be a huge purchase but are gorgeous, some baby items, journal covers. I think variety -- both in items and price points, makes me linger at a booth, which makes me more likely to purchase. (I am in the US, and I love your fabric choice for this giveaway!)

ReplyDeleteI like to see handmade items made by the exhibitor, not low quality imported things that I've seen among quality items as I have seen at some shows. I also like to see a nice display with prices easily found.
ReplyDeleteI mainly look to see if I like the products, but cheery decorations do draw me in! :)
ReplyDeleteNot too busy, organized. Prices value for money, current. Thanks.
