First Granny Top Finished!

Today Mr. P went hunting,so I went sewing ;)  Determined to finish the first Granny quilt top, that is pretty much what I worked on most of the day.  It was back into the scrap basket for more white scraps...

While digging around through the rest of my stash for something to use as borders for the sides,I found a partial charm pack of...none other than Flurry!  Totally forgot that I had won that last year and only used about a third of it :)

There was enough white scraps left to finish the side borders, with two smallish rectangles about 6x4 inches left!  Talk about cutting it close,I sure hope the LQS is able to get some in soon,or I will be heading out of town.

Here are my two October blocks for Stash Bee Hive one, they were sent out on time,I just forgot to post them here.  The block for this month was posted today,so I will be working on it in the near future :)

Hope you all enjoyed the extra hour today, and were able to sew up something.

  4. Love how your quilt turned out!! And amazing you found the charm squares in your stash to make the borders. It was meant to be. You are inspiring me to move this project up on the list of things I want to make.
