For my day during the Flags on a Stick I had a giveaway,and had planned to post the Winner on Friday(yesterday).  I  must apologize because that did not happen.

Now that the weather is starting to cool off,kids will begin spending more time indoors.  These little rice bags are great for any number of indoor toss games.  There are two sets for little boys above,and I have two sets for little girls that just need the rice added and to be sewn shut.

Today was inventory at work,so after a couple hours I was cut loose for the rest of the day!  Although my free time was spent sewing,it was on secret stuff,so the rice bags are all I have to show for my free day.  However you only have a little over a week before one of the projects will not be secret anymore ;)

My finish for September ~ ALYOF

The Goal for this month was to pick a design from the Doodle Stitches book and try my hand at some embroidery.  Since I had not yet sent anything to my nephew for little Axton Rane,I decided now was the time.  So the design I chose was a little teddy bear.

Somewhere I had acquired a skein of variegated blue floss,so that is what was used for this first teddy bear.  He is a little wonky,but very cute and not half bad for a first attempt at embroidery!  I like him so much that I decided to do two more,one in brown and one black.  I hope to have those done soon.

August was my blog anniversary,but it slipped right by,as well as this month also.  Which led to the decision to celebrate a tad late :)  So...

BOM Fabric choices & Winner Reveal!

Hey gang,hope everyone had a great week :)  It was a busy hoppin week for me,what with all the blogs to read on the hop,and then all the emails to respond to!  There wasn't much time for sewing,but I did manage to squeeze in a few minutes here and there ;)

Here is a bit of Eye Candy for you Judy,this will be heading your way sometime early next week ;0)  Six different fat quarters of text/wordy fabric a little pattern and some alphabet beads too.  Hope you like it,and can find some quilty/crafty projects to use it in.

Although I have yet to get my fabric choice for the BOM over at Pile O' Fabric  posted to the Flickr Group they have been chosen!  With the exception of the background fabric,because I want to use something from my stash,but am undecided about what color to use.  So,that being said,please leave me a comment with your opinion,I would greatly appreciate it :0)

These Over the Rainbow Batiks are what I will be using!  Pretty excited about that,as I really love batiks,and these are so bright and cheery :0)

Here they are with Kona Medium Gray on the left and Kona Ash on the right (in the background).  I am leaning toward the Kona Ash,or maybe black...  What would you choose,one of my colors,or something else perhaps??

Winner of the Dots on Dots giveaway
